As 2012 comes to and end, the holidays are just beginning! You’ve met so many fantastic people, Avengers, roleplayers and bloggers alike! Spread the love and holiday joy with a Very Venger Christmas Card Exchange. Write them, draw them, break out the paint and glitter— There’s nothing like some good old fashion snail mail with extra love baked right in!

How?

1. Reblog this post to show you want some love. Find others who want to spread the joy, and send them a message for a Christmas Card Exchange! (See mailing for more details)
2. Once you’ve swapped info, get to making! Write a poem, draw a picture— Tell your favorite roleplayer how much you love them! Anything that shows you appreciate your fellow blogger. There’s no wrong way to make a lovely Christmas Card :)
3. All done? Good! Now its time to send! Don’t forget (As if you didn’t already know)— Christmas is December 25th! Make sure you send your card early. That way, they can make it to your friends in time!

Mailing

Hopefully the art of snail mail is not completely dead. But if you don’t know how, here’s a reminder:

• When exchanging addresses, don’t forget to include your state and zip code!

• US/From US to Other Countries: Make sure you put the right amount of postage on your envelopes! Most cards don’t usually weight more than an ounce or so, but click here to see the requirements for the U.S. Postal Service.

Getting Your Cards

Once you’ve got your beautiful card, show that baby off! Snap a picture and tag a Very Venger Christmas! I know I can’t wait to hoard all the lovely art in my Likes!

Subject: An Avengers Thanksgiving

So, seeing as I live in this Tower along with the rest of you, I’ve decided I have just as much power to suggest parties as anyone else. 

I know not everyone celebrates Thanksgiving, but I think more people celebrate that than Christmas, at least around here, and the idea of it is sort of universal, anyway. So I suggest we have a Thanksgiving party! With turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy and cheesy music and thanks and all that fun stuff. And pie.

And if that’s not enough incentive for some of you, we’ll have hard cider, too, okay?

Everyone get ready for warm fuzzy feelings. I know you all have them somewhere deep down inside.
